Following the COVID-19 booster announcement from the Prime Minister on Sunday 12 December 2021, we  are working to provide vaccinations for all eligible adults aged over 18 in line with national timeframes, so we have to prioritise GP services and pause some routine healthcare appointments.

Welcome to Lincoln House Surgery

Lincoln House Surgery is a group practice of six Partners and three part time GPs. We are based at a purpose built premise at Apsley and provide a wide variety of services to the people of Hemel Hempstead. Our Surgery is fully equipped and staffed through the week. It has access for disabled patients.

This Practice aims to achieve and maintain a quality health service, dedicated to meet the needs of its patients.

There is a patients’ car park with 8 spaces in Sealy Way. Please do not park in the spaces on the left as you enter the car park as these are for the residents of the adjacent flats.

How to book your appointments at  Lincoln House Surgery

Appointments and eConsult eConsult is the default way of accessing our services. Please contact us using this as it helps us provide a responsive service to everyone. You can access it via our website, or via the NHS App on your phone. If you do not have internet access you can call the surgery and reception will fill an eConsult-lite on your behalf. Please avoid calling if you can use eConsult as it helps us keep the lines free for vulnerable patients, emergencies,  or those without internet access.

eConsult lets you consult with us online by completing a quick form that is sent and reviewed by the practice. It is easy and safe. It can also direct you to self-help, pharmacy advice and local self-referral services.

Your eConsult or eConsult-lite will be triaged and signposted based on clinical need. You will receive an acknowledgement by the end of the next working day (or within 72 hours for administrative queries). This acknowledgment will include either details advising of your appointment date and time, response to your query or follow up steps.

To book a nurse’s appointment you can call the surgery.

Doctor’s appointments are prioritised  on clinical need as follows:

  • Routine appointments are allocated with  a lead time of average 2-3 weeks
  • On the day appointments are reserved for acute, urgent and emergencies only

The practice may contact you via text, video call or email as well as see you face to face when needed.

Reception and Administration  Our phone lines are open from 8.00am – 6.30pm Monday – Friday.

Our surgery doors open from 8.30 am to 6.30pm Monday – Friday

Administrative queries are acknowledged within 72 hours (Monday-Friday excluding bank Holidays)
